The teardrops turned into seeds

And the seeds became magical

From them grew trees of inspiration

Suddenly there was no hesitation

No need for any sense of desperation

Only blue skies of Hope and imagination

With stars and moonshine paving the way

Here was the way to new beginnings

There were no signs of any false endings

Only happy new beginnings

There was no need to leave

There was every reason to stay

Right here and in the

Now and Then

When the woozards and wazards released what they called artificial intelligence that made empty promises, this quickly took over the once exciting city and drained it of all reality.

Suddenly, no one trusted what they were seeing. They couldn’t tell truth from lies and lies from truth, which created much suspicion, anxiety, confusion and everything eventually coming to a screaming full stop.

Instead of the previous exclamation mark that symbolised pride and excitement, the full stop grew bigger and bigger until it seemed to swallow the entire city.

The city floated around looking like a bloated and doughy pizza zone with everyone gibbering about the good old days, how they could have, would have and should have while all the time talking about having more money or making more money, and if they had more money wanting even more, and not anything about anything else anymore including what day it was. Muzi wasn’t thinking like them.

Muzi embraced everyone and everything that was real- real music, words that came from the heart and from all those storytellers, teamwork and people bursting with real ideas and not copycat creativity.

These were film directors like Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg and David Lynch, the talents of Wile E Coyote and the Roadrunner, the Muppets, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and those who made the world smile and laugh without saying a word- people like Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, the Keystone Cops and Harold Lloyd.

There were then all those who inspired others to exhale and breathe life into making this a good place full of kindness and love.

Though young, Muzi could have been a thousand year old time traveller.

He took it upon himself to wake up this city and a world that had become round and flabby and very phoneyq to see and feel and hear what they were missing.

He might have known how all this was allowed to happen, or was taken away, but if he did, Muzi kept it to himself.

He knew that there was already way too much information out there that had brought about cluttered minds and unclear thinking- everything and nothing being a priority when they were not, and how when everything becomes a priority what really matters is reduced to a minority.

This is when Muzi woke me up along with my imagination that had also been asleep.

Muzi guided me outdoors and to exhale and take a right turn down to Sesame Street before walking onto that yellow brick road and past it being somewhere I had never been to before and where I met all my childhood friends and heroes.

I found myself back in those days when I could dream and in a time where we MADE the time to see each other in person with no need for artificial anything or unnecessary gadgetry.

Why? How?

Because everything we need is in each of us and waiting for those invisible doors to open and for everything we might have missed along the way to be seen and heard as if for the first time.

And as my guide through my life journey into the Garden of Hope and Understanding and Inspiration, Ihave Muzi travelling with me all the time.

What about you?
